San Jacinto Model Railroad ClubGreater Houston Train Show
The Greater Houston Train Show is (traditionally) held every third Saturday in February. It features Model & Photo Contests, Operating Layouts, Clinics, and Vendors from all over the Southwest.
The 2026 show is coming it on February 21, 2026!
The 2026 Flyer is now out and can be viewed to the left. The show will again be at the Pasadena Convention Center from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
We are expecting another great show this year. We will have a day full of clinics and a contest room planned! We hope to see everyone there!
Clinic Room Information
The San Jacinto Model RR club in association with NMRA/LSR/Div-8 will once again host a Celebration of Models (contest room) at the annual Greater Houston Train Show. There are several modeling categories like Locomotives, Rail cars and structures. We will follow the NMRA Judging guidelines to award points that can be used for qualifications for the NMRA AP program. The modeler can enter their models in the contest or simply present them for judges evaluation.
